Updated November 4th, 2020

In Washington, the overall cheapest car insurance is with PEMCO, Farmers, and Grange.

Each carrier can offer quotes from 31 to 35% lower than the median rate for drivers of a similar age and profile.

Other carriers you would want to put on your bucket list to get quotes are Chubb, Progressive, and MetLife.

Each of them offers quotes from 21 to 26% lower than the median quote for similar age drivers.

Depending on the city, State Farm is extremely competitive, offering quotes 29% cheaper.

I will go into more detail below.

This article will cover the minimum auto insurance requirements, a few cost-saving strategies, and the least expensive carriers for drivers from 25 to 55 years of age.

If you would like to skip to a certain portion of the article, there is a table of contents down a little and to the right for your convenience.
